The QASMT Engagement Activity is a one-on-one interaction conducted on campus where experienced staff members get to know your child. It's an opportunity for students to demonstrate their authentic personality, interests, and suitability for the Queensland Academy learning environment.
QASMT's Philosophy:
"We are seeking authentic engagement. Scripted, memorised and pre-rehearsed speeches should not be prepared. Your child does not need to prepare in advance for the Engagement Activity."
This is where our workshop adds value: While QASMT seeks authentic engagement without rehearsed speeches, understanding what to expect, building confidence, and developing natural communication skills can help students present their genuine selves more effectively.
